Title: A Mouse Lives in a Little Hole
About: Slow vs. Fast with movement. Ask your student if they remember what to do!
Words: A mouse lives in a little hole
Lives softly in a little hole
When all is quiet as quiet can be.
Out pops he!
And he runs all around and he runs on the ground
And he runs and he runs and he stops
And he runs all around and he runs on the ground and he stops
And he looks
And goes down
Music We Responded To:
Title: Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven
About: We used scarves to move smoothly and slowly as we listened to this piece by Beethoven. Students took turns being class leaders.
Title: Flight of The Bumble Bee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
About: We did many different activities with this short, but fast piece of music!
Title: It's Thanksgiving Time
About: We took some to share what we are thankful for this Thanksgiving (as this song explains just a few).
Music with Instruments:
Title: Run Turkey Run
About: A read aloud story which students added a chant. The chant then transferred to instruments such as drums.
Words: Run turkey run
Run turkey run
Run turkey, run turkey
Run, run, run!
Music for Beat Keeping:
